Dear expecting women,

Yoga has been my answer for exercise during pregnancy for all three trimesters while I was having both of my kids. For me personally, it helped me relax, stretch, feel healthier, look healthier and gain some needed energy. I spoke with woman that claim that yoga is a safe and gentle way to get rid of inner stresses and improve both your and your baby's health.

I am a strong believer that the mind controls everything. Yoga empowers us women to connect on a deep level with our minds so that we can truly enjoy the good times, and make it with as little pain as possible through the tough times. As part of this, I understood that exercising is whatever you make it, it can be a chore, or it can be truly exciting and fun. The women that I coach and I chose to make exercise work for us.

By making Yoga work for us we eliminated:

  • Constipation
  • Back pain
  • Shoulder pain
  • Headaches

By telling yourself that you feel good, and reaffirming it by exercising, eating right and by using the most important medicine which is smiling, your body will too, feel and perform better. This is extremely important for us pregnant women because we need to filter as much of our stress and fatigue out as possible during pregnancy and labor, so that we can keep ourselves and our babies healthy.

Another important reason to learn how to control the mind is when it comes to food consumption and exercise. Yoga certainly helps surpass those cravings for chocolate late at night, and it also helps getting yourself together in order to exercise when the feeling just isn't there.

Conclusively, I strongly recommend all women to do Yoga during their pregnancy to help with their labor, and also to help start losing weight right after the child is born.

Yours truly,
Jennifer White
